Photography By Jamuna
"Through photography and photographic exploration, I discover and recreate myself. In the development of an image I find new perspectives and ideas. When a relationship with an image is ignited, the image itself leads the path to realization. In working to completion, I use different techniques to complete the story. The artistic result is an energy that awakens and inspires me. Through my art, I observe the Universe and sometimes, if I'm still enough, I can hear it's message."
Jamuna Burry is a lifelong student of photography and photographic art. She has studied under the mentorships of Shari Miller, Janice Sullivan, Ron Clifford and Robin Grigg-Woods.
